We’re looking for a motivated Inventory Control employee to join our Suwanee, GA distribution center! This is an exciting time to join. Suwanee is a 102,000 square foot facility and plays an important part in fulfilling our customer’s orders.
In this role you will have the opportunity to maintain inventory accuracy, manage out-of-stock and inventory level records, and conduct daily cycle counts. You will spend 4 ½ hours or your day working in excel and looking at the 53,000 different parts to analyze what materials are dated and what is moving or not moving and make recommendations. The other 3 ½ hours will be spent on the warehouse floor working on a cherry picker doing product audits. You will also work in our SAP system.
The hours for this role are 4:00 am to 12:30 pm Monday-Friday.
What does it take to be successful in this role:
• Ability to use power equipment (order selector, reach truck, sit down lift).
• Ability to work with SAP, ability to analyze data within Excel.
• Ability to present data and findings within Word and Excel.
• Ability to work with large amounts of SKU data.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
