The Onsite Service Specialist (OSS) supports assigned customers by managing their inventory, providing outstanding customer service, and driving account growth through customers' inventory management installations. This role also works with partners to implement sales strategy and to help customers understand how Lawson can provide solutions to their business' MRO needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service/Inventory Management
Services multiple customer locations on a designated route by providing the following services:
- Receives and stocks purchased products in designated customer locations.
- Ensures proper stocking levels of products are maintained at customer locations by scanning orders as inventory is depleted.
- Maintains customer inventory locations by ensuring proper labeling of products and ensuring quantities on hand are accurate.
- Resolves customer problems promptly to retain and promote customer loyalty.
- Probes for customer needs during each site visit and works with sales partners to expand Lawson Products offerings.
- Complies with the safety and inspection requirements of both Lawson and the facility where the service is being provided.
- Meets defined KPI’s for the position.
Account Growth
Assists in generating new orders by engaging with the customer to identify additional product requirements (e.g., seeks and captures “spot buy” opportunities while on site; looks for additional opportunities to add items to VMI)
Cross-Functional Partnerships
- Executes onsite service component of account strategy as defined by cross-functional business partners.
- Improves the customer experience and increases business, in collaboration with sales partners.
We offer an hourly rate of $22-27/hour, mileage, a full benefit package available day one and ongoing training and support.
